  Bullying in Schools: A Growing Concern Bullying in schools has become a hot topic — and sadly, it’s happening far too often. We need to understand that our children are no longer babies. As parents, educators, and as a school community, we all have a responsibility to address bullying regularly through open talks, workshops, and awareness campaigns. However, it starts at home. Parents need to have honest conversations with their children about the laws of our country and the consequences that come with bullying. Many young people don’t realize that bullying — especially on social media — can follow them for the rest of their lives. What might feel like “standing up for what’s right” in the moment can, in reality, be a criminal offense. We must listen when a child cries out for help — whether it’s your own child or another being bullied daily at school. Even if it seems small, never ignore it.
