Our Story: From Humble Beginnings to Bold Visions

For the past three years, Aspeling High School has operated from a modest rented building in Diep River. Despite the space limitations, we’ve managed to build a small, passionate school community of 42 learners — many of whom come from Zeekoevlei, Grassy Park, and surrounding areas.

But our learners deserve better. They deserve a space that is built with them in mind — a school designed to foster curiosity, dignity, and belonging.

That’s why we’re constructing a brand-new, purpose-built school — in the community, for the community.

A School Built by the Community, for the Community

This ambitious R1.6 million construction project is fully self-funded, driven by our school leadership and the School Governing Body (SGB). We’re proud to be doing this without government grants or bank loans — keeping our vision community-rooted and debt-free.

Now, we’re calling on visionary companies and compassionate partners to help us bring this dream to life.

We are offering naming rights to 10 key school facilities to honour and thank our founding sponsors. For a contribution of R100,000 or equivalent value, your company can name:

  • Prayer/Meditation Room

  • Games & Recreation Room

  • Reception Area

  • Administration Office

  • Bursary Hall of Honour (for those who sponsor a learner’s full tuition)
